A Self-Help Guide For Herbal Remedy

Female Infertility Natural Treatment

Infertility Advice

Infertility is the inability of a woman to become pregnant after a year or more of regular sexual activity during the time of ovulation. It is also the inability to carry a pregnancy full-term. Infertility is usually caused by a hormonal imbalance.

Cause of Female Infertility

Some possible causes include pelvic inflammatory disease and chlamydia. Chlamydia is one of the leading causes of infertility, yet most women are unaware that they have the disease.

Another Reason for Infertility

Some women develop antibodies to their partner's sperm due to an allergic reaction. This may be corrected by having the male use a condom for thirty days. The female's sperm antibodies decrease, and then intercourse without the use of a condom during the time of ovulation may lead to conception.

Because there are so many causes of infertility, in most cases a qualified doctor's opinion is needed.

OVULATION TIMING SELF-TEST

When planning for a baby, you can obtain a test that can help you determine the best time to conceive. Remember, however, that no test is 100 percent accurate. This test predicts the time of ovulation by measuring the corresponding rise in the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) present, which triggers the release of the egg.

A chemically impregnated dipstick detects the LH in urine samples. IF the hormone has been released, it is indicated by a color change in the stick. After a positive result, ovulation takes place within twelve to thirty-six hours. Ovu-stick and another test kit called First Response can be purchased at your drugstore.

Most doctors must get your consent before performing diagnostic tests. There may be risks involved any time you penetrate the body using a tube, needle, or viewing instrument, or through radiation exposure, reactions to drugs, anesthetics, and dye materials used in certain imaging techniques. Risks vary depending on your age and health status, and the ability of your doctor.
